San Diego Sustain

San Diego Sustain is an attempt to better educate residents of the San Diego California area about environmental sustainability and resource preservation. San Diego Sustain will act as a resource for energy friendly and green establishments, as well as a place for San Diego residents to share their knowledge and resources with others. Use the references provided on this site to better educate yourself in the local resources that can be used to protect the environment.

Designed with the San Diego county public in mind, San Diego Sustain does not attempt to be national. Greater results can be seen with a smaller, more local approach. Community based education is an improtant asset to our cause because it betters relations amongst individuals and the community as a whole; making any projects undertaken a more diversified and fluid task. As ripples in water grow and expand, so will the influence of a smaller scale project.

Habitat desctruction and environmental degradation are an issue that must be faced by all that share the space on planet Earth. These are not issues that can be forever pushed to the side. My hopes are that this website will be able to raise awareness of these current problems facing humans, our planet, and our city.
